Area Information

Useful Information:

Great Barrington Visitors Center: 413-528-1510. Ask for Joy.

Important for cell-phone users:

Cell phone coverage in the region is inconsistent. When we checked over Thanksgiving, Verizon had recently built a cell phone tower in Great Barrington, so the area is no longer towerless (for better or worse), but reception outside of town remains spotty. Please plan accordingly. (Give folks the phone number for your hotel, bring plenty of quarters, etc.) You can reach Chuck and Amy if needed at the Walters’ house: 413-644-9079.

Activities:

We will be arranging some fun, outdoorsy activities around the wedding weekend, and will be in touch about those closer to the wedding.

Great Barrington Town Center

Great Barrington’s town center, which lies 15 minutes east of North Egremont on Route 23, is a charming place to walk around and offers shops, bars and restaurants. The Days Inn is located right in town, and the Wainwright Inn is about a 5-minute walk.
